Day 1 – Arrival in Amritsar
• Morning: Arrive in Amritsar, check into your hotel.
• Afternoon: Visit the Golden Temple for a spiritual experience. Don’t miss the Langar (community kitchen) for a meal.
• Evening: Explore Jallianwala Bagh, a significant historical site.
Day 2 – Amritsar Sightseeing
• Morning: Visit the Durgiana Temple and Ram Bagh Garden.
• Afternoon: Head to the Wagah Border to witness the evening flag lowering ceremony.
• Evening: Take a stroll through Hall Bazaar for shopping or relax in the local area.
Day 3 – Travel to Vaishno Devi
• Morning: Depart early for Vaishno Devi. Depending on your mode of travel, you might reach Katra (base town for Vaishno Devi) by afternoon or evening.
• Evening: Rest and prepare for the journey to the Vaishno Devi Shrine the next day.
Day 4 – Vaishno Devi Darshan
• Morning: Start your pilgrimage to the Vaishno Devi Shrine early in the morning. The trek can take around 6-8 hours depending on your pace and mode of travel (on foot, pony, or helicopter).
• Afternoon/Evening: Arrive at the shrine and offer your prayers.
Day 5 – Explore Katra and Relax
• After your darshan, you can relax in Katra. If you feel like it, you can take a short trek to Bhairon Mandir, which offers scenic views and is believed to be an important part of the pilgrimage.
Day 6 – Vaishno Devi / Return
• If you want, you could take a day trip to explore other areas around Katra, or you can start your return journey based on your travel plans.
